ABOUT CAMP: Our goal, first and foremost, is creating a space for growth and exploration run by trans staff and gender advocates for children outside of the gender binary. We do that by prioritizing community values such as acting with respect, responding with kindness, and creating together.

What does Build Your Own Adventure Camp mean?

We dive into a fantastical story together with staff playing roles to help immerse our campers in a magical world… but then the campers get to be the story themselves, creating their own characters and discovering how their decisions and actions impact those around them, creating a truly amazing adventure for our week together.  At times we encounter villains that need to be defeated, or puzzles and traps that we must work our way through. The campers are assigned to age-appropriate teams and receive prompts to create and build things needed to propel the story and move us toward our goal. This is a literacy, STEM, art, and community building mashup of pure ridiculous fun!
